Swish-Swish-Swish!

This morning was so much fun! I had another doctor appointment and Alex and I got to hear the heartbeat today! I knew that we were supposed to, but I was really nervous that they might not be able to find it. I was so excited when it only took about 5 seconds to find the heartbeat. It sounded like a very fast swishing. It was so amazing to hear proof that our little baby is living and doing okay. I am now 13 1/2 weeks, so I am finally done with the first trimester. I am feeling much better, so I am definitely grateful for that. We will probably find out what the baby is in about 31/2 weeks! I am so excited because then I can finally start buying things and getting the nursery ready.

Easter Weekend!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend! We stayed in Nephi on Thursday night then went to Delta for the rest of the weekend. One of the Delta grocery stores has an anniversary party the Friday before easter. They have 10 cent hotdogs which we get every year. This year was crazy though! We stood in line for these stupid hot dogs for three hours! So, this tradition ended this year. After our long wait we went to the sand dunes and played for a while. Friday night we had a bridal shower for my cousin Robert's fiance. It was fun and Kari is such a cute girl! We are all so excited to have her in our family!
Saturday we went to Black Rock and had a picnic. The weather was amazingly nice! It was sunny and warm and I got sunburned! After the picnic we had our annual softball game. I got out of it somehow because I hate it so much! But, Alex was awesome! He got a homerun every inning except one. He also got an amazing catch in the outfield. I am glad he did so well, I was proud! That night Alex and I took my sister Kellsi with us to dinner and a movie. It was fun to get away from the craziness for a couple of hours. We saw Horton Hears a Who. It was a really cute movie. Sunday we went to my grandparents ward and then had a delicious dinner. The whole weekend was so fun! We had about 70 people at our festivities, which is probably the most we have had for easter weekend!
Again, I am so thankful for my amazing family! I am so lucky to be in a family who enjoys each other. I laughed so much with my sisters this weekend. We played the Wii and made up dances for when we did well. My stomach hurt after from laughing so hard!

Fun Weekend!

Well, last Saturday I felt completely honored! My mom, grandma and aunts go to lunch, shopping, and a play every year around the time of my cousin Doug's birthday. This year my Aunt Maria wasn't able to go, and so my grandma invited me! I had so much fun! I am so lucky to have such wonderful aunts and a grandma that I have so much fun with. We had lunch at Archibald's at Gardner Village and then went to the play Civil War at Hale Theater. The play wasn't my favorite because it was pretty depressing. My grandma agreed with me, but everyone else loved it. At lunch I got to hear some pretty funny stories. I laughed a lot that day and had the best time!

New Look

Hey Everyone! I got tired of the black and pink, so I changed my colors. When I did so, it deleted the poll, meaning you have to vote again! I am surprised that most of you think I will have a boy! I am almost 11 weeks so only about 7 more weeks until I find out what it really is.
We are doing pretty well lately. We have just been staying busy; me with work and growing a baby and Alex with work, school, and shotgun shooting. We have been pretty boring lately, but we are happy and doing well! Hopefully something fun will happen soon and I can have a more exciting post!
