HUNGER GAMES!!

I LOVE the Hunger Games series. They are such excellent books and when I read them they were just so different than anything I had read before. I was so excited for the movie-maybe more excited than a grown woman should be! My mom, sisters, and I decided to go to the midnight showing. It was so much fun. I love midnight premiers. Everyone is equally excited-it is just so fun. We all loved the movie. I thought they overall stayed really close to the book. Every actor was perfect for the character they played. It was a lot of fun, but now I a just bummed we have to wait a year for the next movie!

First Spring Picnic!

In March we had a most BEAUTIFUL day! We went to the library for story time and then went to the park by the library for lunch. It was so warm and perfect. Jackson made some little friends and loved playing. Gavin was loving the sunshine as well. He also started sitting up this day-although it took a few more weeks before he could completely sit up alone. It was fun playing at a park we usually don't go to. I love the spring and it was nice to have a free day to enjoy it!

St. George

In March we went to St. George to watch Sam play softball. It was so much fun! I had been looking forward to this trip for weeks and it did not disappoint. The boys and I went down with my mom, dad, sisters, Grandma and Aunt Val. We stayed in the worst hotel, but at least it was a place to sleep!
 The weather the first two days was great! It was so nice to enjoy the warmth. Sam was amazing! She is seriously a fantastic softball player and it is pretty fun cheering for the best one on the team.
Other than watching softball we did a lot of shopping! I got the boys some cute clothes and got myself a couple of shirts. It was so much fun having my Aunt and Grandma with us. Jackson really bonded with Aunt Val-he thought she was pretty great!

Disney on Ice

When I saw that Disney on Ice was coming and that it was Toy Story 3 I knew I had to take Jackson! He loves Toy Story! It was so much fun. It was just my boys and me and we had the best time. Jackson loved it, but would get a little concerned when Buzz or Woody weren't on the ice. I thought it was so cute and I just loved watching Jackson get excited! Gavin was so good as well. I was nervous he would be naughty, but he was just perfect and loved the lights and colors. We had such a fun night!

St. Patty's Day!

We had a fun St. Patty's day treasure hunt for family night in March. Jackson was so funny. The first clue said to walk, not run to the clues. Well, he took that literally and would slowly walk to find each clue. Kellsi told him to hurry and he said, "It said not to run, Kels!" Such a nut! But, it was a lot of fun! On the actual day we were in St. George watching Sam play softball. When Jackson he woke up and had Lucky Charms and that sneaky Leprechaun turned the milk green! He thought that was pretty cool, but kept wondering how he did it. It is so much fun planning fun things for Jackson for each holiday. He makes things so fun!
