Saturday was the first bonfire of the year and it was so much fun! We got to Horseshoe Springs around seven and the guys were able to shoot for a little while. I am not a big shooter, but Alex loves it! Then we grilled steaks and had a delicious dinner. After that we started the fire and just had fun! Alex played the guitar which is always great entertainment! We are so lucky to have such fun friends!

I am so excited because I just made an appointment with Fetal photos to find out what the baby is! The appointment is for next Saturday at 4:30. Hopefully the baby won't be shy so we can find out! A girl at work told me she had to go four different times because her baby had her legs crossed the other three times! I am really hoping this doesn't happen to me; I can't take the suspense much longer! I went shopping with my mother-in-law last weekend and there were so many cute baby clothes! I can't wait to start shopping!
The pregnancy seems to be going well. I am feeling a lot better over all, but occasionally I have a bad day. The last two mornings didn't go so well. On Monday I puked right before I was leaving for work. Then I got so lightheaded in a patient's room, I had to leave before I passed out. Then on Tuesday I had to pull over on the freeway to puke on my way to work! It is definitely not fun, but I guess I would rather puke in the morning and then feel okay the rest of the day, as opposed to feeling sick all day. I am excited for the baby to get bigger so I can feel it move! I think that will be such an amazing experience!
On a sad note, my dad has decided to go back to Iraq for 14 months. He had planned on starting nursing school, but did not get accepted. He tried to get back in the National guard, but because of an old back injury they would not let him. So, he is going back to Iraq because he has a family to provide for. I am so sad that my dad won't be here to see his first grandbaby. He loves family and babies so much and I know that he will be sad as well. I realize that this is something that he has to do, but I am just going to miss him so much.
Well, sorry for all of the random topics, but I just wanted to update everyone on our lives for the moment.

I completely agree that smells and music bring back memories! There are many times that I smell something that makes me feel nostalgic, but I can't always place what it is reminding me of. Whenever I smell Tommy cologne I think of my first kiss with Alex. He was wearing it, and I actually don't like it that much. But, when I smell it I remember the kind of awkward kiss that left me feeling a little lightheaded and left my lips feeling like they were burning!
Three summers ago Alex and I went to Houston for his work and a little vacation. I had just gotten the Gavin DeGraw CD and we listened to it the whole trip. Now, whenever I put it in I remember our fun trip! Also, Nelly Furtado's older songs always remind me of my friend Colette Olpin! We would drive around for hours just talking and listening to Nelly Furtado.
