I am so excited because I just made an appointment with Fetal photos to find out what the baby is! The appointment is for next Saturday at 4:30. Hopefully the baby won't be shy so we can find out! A girl at work told me she had to go four different times because her baby had her legs crossed the other three times! I am really hoping this doesn't happen to me; I can't take the suspense much longer! I went shopping with my mother-in-law last weekend and there were so many cute baby clothes! I can't wait to start shopping!
The pregnancy seems to be going well. I am feeling a lot better over all, but occasionally I have a bad day. The last two mornings didn't go so well. On Monday I puked right before I was leaving for work. Then I got so lightheaded in a patient's room, I had to leave before I passed out. Then on Tuesday I had to pull over on the freeway to puke on my way to work! It is definitely not fun, but I guess I would rather puke in the morning and then feel okay the rest of the day, as opposed to feeling sick all day. I am excited for the baby to get bigger so I can feel it move! I think that will be such an amazing experience!
On a sad note, my dad has decided to go back to Iraq for 14 months. He had planned on starting nursing school, but did not get accepted. He tried to get back in the National guard, but because of an old back injury they would not let him. So, he is going back to Iraq because he has a family to provide for. I am so sad that my dad won't be here to see his first grandbaby. He loves family and babies so much and I know that he will be sad as well. I realize that this is something that he has to do, but I am just going to miss him so much.
Well, sorry for all of the random topics, but I just wanted to update everyone on our lives for the moment.

I am so excited to hear about the results from your appointment! I'm sorry to hear about your dad though. That's hard for him to be gone. Feel better though and know we'll be keeping him (and all the others in Iraq) in our prayers.
Oh you poor poor thing throwing up on the side of the road is definitely so not fun but hopefully it will pass, I pretty much got past that now its just random moments I throw up but atleast its not constant nausea! I am SO excited for you to go to fetal fotos YAY!!! I love that place and I cant wait to see what your having, I am going again next week on wednesday and I am so excited to see my baby again!! Also let me recommend to you from fetal fotos thaey do maternity massage and I 100% recommend the escape to heaven massage oh my heck it is exactly as it is titled!! And last I am so sorry that your dad has to go to Iraq and miss your baby being born and just for having to be there for so long that has to be really hard. Anyways good luck on Saturday I will be anxiously waiting to see an update on here telling us boy or girl!!

To focus on the positive side of things--I am so excited for you to find out if you are having a boy or a girl. Speaking of shopping for clothes--they have come a long way with baby boy clothing, and girl clothing will always be fun to buy. It's really like the biggest surprise. As for the pregnancy--enjoy it, even when it is hard because soon it will be over and there will be a part of you that will miss the constant company. Hopefully your dad will return home to a healthy beautiful grandbaby.

Oh miss mariah...It is not fun at all to be sick and hopefully it will just pass soon. I'm excited for you to find out about the sex of your baby..that is always fun to find out:)!! Hopefully he or she won't be too modest and let those legs be free:) Your dad is an awesome man, sacrificing himself for his family and doing what he feels is right...and then grandpa will come home to lots of pictures, movies and a healthy baby to play with:)
I cant wait to find out what the baby is. I vote girl!!! I'm so sorry you have been so sick, It's so miserable, but so worth it(and you know, most people say your more sick with girls). And then , if your crazy like me, you'll even miss it. I'm so happy for you. What an exciting time.
