Six Months Old!

Current Stats:
Weight: 17 lbs 9 oz (60th percentile)
Length: 28 inches (>90th percentile)
Head: 43 cm (50th percentile)

I cannot believe that my baby is already half a year old! These last six months have flown by! Jackson had his six month doctor appointment today and he is still doing great! His weight curve dropped a little, but everything else was in the same percentile. He had to have four shots today and hasn't seemed to be feeling too great this afternoon. Poor baby- I hate watching them give him shots. It really is the worst! But, other than that he did great and his doc says he looks good and healthy. So here are a few Jackson facts at six months old:

*He has two bottom teeth
*He can sit up independently
*He rolls to get to where he wants to go
*He loves to eat his baby food, especially carrots, sweet potatoes, and pears
*He talks a lot more lately. He says mama, although I realize he doesn't know what he is saying :)
*He laughs a lot and thinks that Alex and I are pretty funny
*He blows raspberries quite frequently and particularly while eating
*He likes to take baths in the big tub and splashes and laughs
*He is very curious and is always looking and grabbing at everything
*Most anything he gets a hold of goes straight for the mouth
*He loves when we sing silly songs to him. If he is grumpy we can usually calm him down by singing to him.

Well, I can't think of anything else at the moment. We just love this little boy to pieces and are loving watching him grow up!
