Top of Utah Half Marathon

Well, I did it! I made the goal to run a half marathon within a year of Jackson being born. I ran it on his 11 month birthday! It was hard and I was more tired than I have ever been, but I am happy I did it. When I got done I didn't feel that accomplished, I was just so happy to be done. But, then my mom called me and made me feel proud of myself :) I was really slow, but I was able to do it without stopping and I wasn't last place-the two goals I wanted to achieve!

On another note-we stayed in Logan the night before the race and had a great time! We were able to go to dinner with my friend Joe and his wife, Breanne. It was so much fun and we can't wait to get together with them again! That night we took Jackson swimming in the hotel pool and he loved it! It was so much fun!

I know this is a horrible picture, but hey I just ran 13.1 miles!

Good Job, Mariah! That is so awsome...I still think I will stick to 5 and 10Ks though. That is so great--you better feel accomplished!
