4th of July!

We had a wonderful 4th of July weekend. I worked Friday night and Saturday morning we headed to Nephi. Nephi celebrated on Saturday so we were able to go to all of the festivities at the park. It was a lot of fun! There were several games that Jackson could play and he had a blast! He also won lots of prizes and he thought those were pretty fantastic. He picked out three different guns and a monster truck for his prizes-he is ALL boy :) Kaitlin performed at the program, so we watched her and then we all went to Reed's (the best restaurant in Nephi :) for lunch. I hadn't slept yet after working all night so after lunch I took a nap. That night my dad grilled us delicious hamburgers and then we went to the Bowles' house for fireworks. Jackson was excited for the fireworks, but he didn't like the loud ones. He sat with his ears covered the entire time-silly boy! It was a fun day!Sunday we went to church and then headed to Delta. That night we just visited and played Rook (which I won, by the way :). Monday morning we went to the parade. Jackson thought it was pretty great that the people were throwing him candy. After the parade we went to the park. Jackson played a couple of games and then played on the playground. After the park we headed to the Res. The Killpack's were nice enough to let us use their boat. Alex was happy to wakeboard! We played on the beach and had a wonderful time! Alex had school early Tuesday morning so we had to miss the derby and the fireworks, but we still had a great time! I loved that Nephi and Delta celebrated on different days so we could go to both! It was a fantastic weekend!
