I was so good with documenting everything about my pregnancy with Jackson. I guess now that I have a child, I am just super busy and haven't found the time to blog! I am now 30 weeks along! I can't believe I only have 10 weeks left. This pregnancy has flown by! Our summer was SUPER busy so that is probably what made it go so quickly. I am feeling pretty good overall-just getting tired of being pregnant and ready to meet our little guy!
My biggest problem with this pregnancy has been heartburn! It is terrible! I started taking Prevacid and that has helped although I still get it occasionally. Also, my regular glucose screening was high so I had to do the three hour test. It was awful! The drink was so disgusting and I just had to sit in a room for four hours! I didn't have a babysitter and had Jackson with me. Luckily he is a good boy and was perfectly fine while we were there. The good news is my levels with the three hour test were all perfectly normal! I am definitely relieved to not have to worry about my blood sugars for the next 10 weeks.
I have started getting things ready for the new nursery. I need my dad to come and paint so I can start putting things on the walls! I also need to finish my quilt! Hopefully I get it done before he comes :)
We are just so excited to see our baby boy! I wonder if he will look like Jackson or completely different. It will be fun to compare! The name we are most likely going with is Gavin James. James is my dad's middle name. We have been thinking of a couple of names including Gavin and Grant. My sisters did not like Grant, but I still did. I didn't say either name to Jackson because I didn't want to confuse him. Well, one day at my mom's I asked Jackson what the baby's name was. He said, "Gavin. Not Grant-Grant is yucky!" I said, "Did Kellsi tell you to say that?" and he said, "No Kaitlin did!" Kaitlin swears she didn't, but he obviously heard my sisters talking about it. They are just lucky I was already leaning towards Gavin :)
Anyway, we are so excited for him to get here!

I Love the name Gavin James! SO SO SO Cute! I am excited for you guys and can't wait for you to hold your new precious baby. You are a Great mom of one boy and will be an Amazing mom to two cute boys! Cant wait to see pictures of his nursery. I hope everything goes good for you the next few weeks. It is crazy how fast 10 weeks will go by. LOVE YA
Don't worry! If you choose Grant I will like it! Grant Matesen sounds like a stud name hehehe. But so does Gavin :p
You are one brave mom to do the 3 hour test with Jackson in toe! I thought the regular one was terrible so I can't even imagine how you felt after the 3 hour one. Crazy how fast it is going! hope you stay feeling pretty good other than the fun heartburn =]

Wow, already 30 weeks? (Probably 31 now!). Glad you don't have to deal with blood sugar checks. I like both of those names, but am leaning towards Gavin (when we had Gage, we were trying to decide between Gage and Gavin). Hope the last weeks go well! I can't wait for you!
