Jackson is THREE!

Current Stats:
Weight: 36 lbs (87th percentile)
Height: 40 inches (90th percentile)

I can't believe my little boy is three years old! I had great intentions of writing some really sweet post on his actual birthday, but I obviously failed. I am so thankful to have Jackson as my little boy. It is truly a blessing to be his mom. I think I am pretty spoiled by how good he is. In keeping with tradition I am just going to make a list of things about this cute boy.

*He talks non-stop! He may or may not get that from his mom :)
*He loves to sing and knows the words to a lot of songs
*He loves to play with friends. No matter where we are he makes friends, although he is pretty reserved with adults.
*He adores his aunts! Kaitlin, Kellsi, and Sam are about as good as it gets for him
*I am not sure if I have ever mentioned it on the blog, but he has been potty trained since January which is fabulous!
*He loves to play with his daddy
*He thinks he is Batman and often corrects me if I call him anything else
*Mickey Mouse is still his favorite TV show
*He likes to count things and sing the ABCs (although he still doesn't know all of his letters-he is pretty stubborn and doesn't learn things when I want him too :)
*He is excited about having a baby brother. I am sure this will change once the baby is here, but he talks about the baby all the time right now.
*He is very curious and asks questions about everything all the time!
*He sleeps from around 9pm to 8am and still takes a 2-3hr nap every day
*He can be pretty dramatic when he is upset about something, but usually gets over it quickly
*He is a great eater. He will eat pretty much anything I give him. Luckily he loves his fruits and veggies!
*He knows all of his shapes including an "octergon" :)
*Some of my favorite things he says are, "Oh! I have a idea!", "Ummm, how 'bout tomorrow?", "I'm Batman!", "Hmmm, let me think.", "Should we just __________ or someting?", "That is making me crazy mommy!" (Those are what I can think of at the moment, but he keeps me laughing all day with the things he comes up with :)
*He loves Rock-N-Roll. He requests it every time we are in the car. And the way he says it is so cute
*He has a great imagination. He makes up little scenarios all the time and has all different characters.
*He loves to play with toys. He literally plays all day long!

I guess that list will do! I could go on and on about him. He has such a personality and reminds me of his dad a lot. I just can't believe how quickly the last three years have gone! I will end with his three year photo shoot. He was terrible! He hates having his picture taken and would not smile for anything. Oh well, I still think he is pretty handsome :)
