I was supposed to work on the fourth and so Alex and I did not really make any big plans. But, at 5am I got cancelled from work. I was very happy not to work, but I was disappointed that we hadn't gone to Delta for our annual festivities there. The day still turned out well, though. Alex got to go hiking with some of his friends up near Brighton. He hasn't done much hiking lately and I know he had a lot of fun. Then that night we had a barbeque and watched fireworks with Justin and Alyssa. It was just a last minute planned event, but we had a lot of fun. We got to see their two new baby horses, new bunnies, and a little duckling that Justin saved. All of the animals were so cute! It is so nice to have friends that are so easy going. We had fun just talking and laughing. So, thanks to Justin and Alyssa for inviting us over!
On another note, I had another doctor's appointment on Thursday. I had to do the glucose test and was really dreading it! the drink was pretty gross, but I passed! I stress about the dumbest things, so I am just happy to have that over with. Otherwise everything is going perfectly. I feel pretty good at the moment and am just shocked at how quickly these last six months have gone! I am still measuring a week further ahead than my original due date, so this baby might come earlier than October 3. I am now on every two week doctor's appointments, so I really am to the home stretch!

Congrats on passing the glucose test! Mine was orange-flavored (I guess some people have lemon-lime). It wasn't too bad, but WAY too sugary. Gross. Haha. I hope you're feeling well and so anxious for this baby! Congrats!
I worry about everything too. Tomorrow I get to hear the JR's(thats what we call the baby) heart beat for the first time. I am so worried that something will be wrong. Its good to hear you are doing well though. DO you have a name picked out? I'm so excited for you!!!!!
