Ute Stampede Weekend

This weekend was the Ute Stampede in Nephi. Alex got home on Friday which was great! After I got off of work we drove to Nephi for the weekend. On Saturday we went to the booths that sell crafts, jewelry and other things. It was so much fun to see people I haven't seen in a long time! I also bought the cutest thing called a scentsy. It is a warmer that makes your house smell good. It is really cute and there are tons of great scents! That night we went to the rodeo with a bunch of my friends. We sat with Mandee and Jaren, McKel and Mike, Karson and Linzy, and Whitney and Lauren. I have such funny friends and I laughed a lot that night! Although the company was great, the rodeo was a bit too long! I have to confess (and this is quite the confession coming from a native Nephite) I haven't been to the Stampede in five years. Most Nephi families go all three nights of the rodeo! So, even though I am not a very loyal Nephite I really did have a lot of fun! Maybe next year I will go again!
On Sunday we spent the day with my family and I got to talk to my dad! It was so good to hear his voice. He sounds like he is doing well even though it has been 125 degrees with 50mph winds!
Overall it was a fabulous weekend! I am so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family!

It was fun to see you over the weekend even if we didn't get to talk very much! I also have a Scentsy and I LOVE it! My sister-in-law sells them so I am always buying new scents!

Celeste's cousin Wyatt Hancock was riding horses in the Ute Stampede. He won it last year. You wouldn't know if he won it this year do you? I wish Celeste and I could have been there.
