Bear Lake 10K

Last Saturday I ran in my first 10K at Bear Lake. It went really well, surprisingly. I had only run 6 miles one time before, so I wasn't sure how it would go. But, I did okay. The worst part of the race was that it was super hilly and it rained the whole time. I completed 6.2 miles in 1 hour 8 minutes. I know that seems really slow, but I was happy with that time for my first 10K. I felt really great finishing and I wasn't even sore the next morning!
The night before the race we stayed in Logan. We went to dinner and just had a great time. At the end of dinner the waitress gave Jackson a sucker. We let him feed it to himself and it was hilarious! He loved it and if I tried to take it away he would get mad and shake until he got it back. The only pics I took of the weekend are of Jackson and his sucker, so enjoy!
