Happy Birthday Alex!

Alex had his 28th birthday on Monday! He had a full weekend of celebrating so he was pretty spoiled! Saturday we had a bbq at our house. It was a smaller group than usual and it was pouring rain, but we still had a good time. I made the cutest desserts that I found on Bakerella. They turned out so cute and were tasty as well! Thanks to everyone who came and had a great time with us!
Monday, his actual birthday, we were in Nephi. He decided to call in to work and take it easy for the day :). My mom made him a delicious breakfast and then he spent the morning with my dad while my mom and I got our hair cut. Then Alex and I went on a four-wheeler ride up the canyon. He always wants me to go, but I never want to. I just went because it was his birthday, but I had a great time! I got a little sunburned, but it was a good ride. Plus, the mountains are so green from all the rain so it was a beautiful ride as well! That evening Alex had to go to school for a couple of hours. While I was waiting I went and got a pedicure and glitter toes (they are so cute, but I don't think I am going to post a picture of my feet:). I am not sure why I got to pamper myself on Alex's birthday, but I'm thinking it is a trend that could continue:). After class we finished the night with dinner at the Spaghetti Factory. We had a fun day and I am just so thankful Alex was born 28 years ago!

Jackson at my mom's house. My dad had him play with this Russian nesting doll. He figured out that he was supposed to stack the top piece on the bottom. What a smart boy!

My cute lemonade! I forgot to take a picture before it was all gone, but I think it still looks kind of cute. Plus, the drinks were very tasty!
