Fourth of July!

We spent the fourth of July in Delta this year! I haven't been able to go in a couple of years so I was happy to be back! I actually had to work the night of the 3rd, so I didn't get to Delta until around noon on the fourth. Alex and Jackson headed down without me the morning of the third to go boating at the Res with my family and Aunt Bobbie's family.
Then on the fourth I met up with everyone at Leo's for lunch. That night we went to the Derby, which was so much fun! They had the normal events plus mini car races and trucks. It was a good derby and we had a blast! We stayed for the fireworks (which were really awesome, especially for a small town), but left before the powderpuff and wipeout sessions. At this point I had been awake for about thirty hours so I needed to go home to bed!
The next day we all got up early to watch Wimbledon, which sadly Roddick lost :(. Alex headed home after church and Jackson and I stayed at my mom's for a couple more days. My dad had painted Kaitlin's room and I brought the Cricut to cut out circles and some other fun things for the wall. It turned out so cute!
*Side note: I was a bad mother and didn't take any pictures of Jackson on the fourth! He looked adorable in his little red, white, and blue shorts but I just forgot!
