Jordan and Cindy's wedding day finally arrived! Their wedding day was absolutely wonderful! We actually had two full days and they were both great. Thursday my mom and I were able to go to the Timpanogos Temple with Cindy while she received her endowment. It was a special day and so fun to be with her for that. That evening we had a rehearsal at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and then a dinner at Braza Grill. The dinner was a lot of fun with yummy food! My sisters and I gave Cindy a survival pack for being married to Jordan. There were funny things such as earplugs because he snores and a watch because he always has to be early. Then there were nice things as well. It was funny and Cindy liked it (although Jordan was a bit embarrassed:). The night before the wedding Jordan stayed at my house. It was pretty fun seeing how excited he was.
The actual wedding day was great. The temple sealer was so wonderful. He was humble and kind and the spirit was really strong. It was amazing to see how many friends and family were there. It was such a special experience for me to see my little brother starting his own eternal family.
After the ceremony we of course had pictures. Then came the ring ceremony. Jackson was the ring bearer. Kaitlin was going to send him in, but right before his turn he smashed his hand in the door and so was bawling his eyes out and Kate just had to walk him all the way in :( I hope it didn't ruin things for Cindy. As soon as Jackson got to Alex he stopped crying so it wasn't too disruptive :)
After the ring ceremony we headed to the 9th floor of the JSMB for the luncheon. It was so fun! The food was delicious and then they had a dance floor and DJ. None of Cindy's family or friends wanted to dance so my family took over! We had the best time!
It was definitely a great couple of days. Cindy looked beautiful and Jordan was handsome-they were a very good looking couple! I am proud of my brother for making good decisions so that he could be married in the temple. I am excited for them to start their new lives together!
