Pumpkin Carving

A few days before Halloween we carved pumpkins. I made a delicious corn chowder with bread bowls for dinner and then we got to carving! Jackson's little pumpkin was from a cute lady I work with. She grew it in her garden and brought it to me to give to Jackson-so cute! He loved his pumpkin and wanted to carry it around all day long! Jackson did not like touching the pumpkin guts. Once the pumpkins were scraped out, t we gave him a spoon and he thought he was cleaning them out. He was pretty excited to see them all lit up at the end. It was a fun night carving pumpkins!

This has nothing to do with pumpkin carving, but there was a decorating contest at the hospital and my friend/coworker made this pumpkin and I love it! This is the get-up all of our patients have to get into before they leave their room.

I made these cute pumpkins for the ladies I visit teach. I copied the idea from Brown Paper Packages.
