Christmas Fun!

We had a lot of fun this holiday season! We started by decorating our house. Jackson loved all of the Christmas decorations. Every morning he would say, "It's still Christmas in our house!" I love decorating for Christmas and am always a little sad to take it down. We also made gingerbread houses. These were a gigantic pain to put together, but Jackson loved them! They turned out pretty cute.

Jackson and I also made sugar cookies for Santa. Jackson got sick of frosting after only four cookies, but he loved putting sprinkles on. We decided to save the four he did himself for Santa. Well, Alex ate three of the four the next morning while we were asleep! Jackson was a bit mad, but we just brought some of the ones I frosted to give to Santa.
The Layton City park has really fun Christmas lights that are free to drive through. I didn't take any pictures, but we went through the park a couple of times. Jackson loved all of them, but especially the dinosaur and dragon lights.
Just a few days before Christmas we went to Temple Square with my family. We had dinner at the Gateway first and then walked to the temple. It was a great night. It wasn't too cold, although it snowed a little bit. It was really busy (probably because it was a Wednesday-Mutual night), but we still had a great time. Gavin slept the whole time and Jackson said all of the lights were so beautiful.

While we were at the Gateway, before seeing the lights, we spotted these Hollister Models. Sam  HAD to get a pic with them! Abercrombie had models as well so we got pictures with them after we saw the lights.

Jackson and Grandpa Bob. They were buds this night. Jackson sang Jingle Bells practically the whole time!

It was fun doing a few things to celebrate the season!
